在2024全球青少年創新設計與發明大賽中，超過400名年輕參賽者展現了他們的創意與才華，參賽者的年齡組別分布相對均衡，幼兒組佔比約5%，小學組37%，中學組32%，公開組26%。這樣的參與情況展現了各年齡層對創新設計的熱情與投入。 本次比賽中，幾個優秀作品尤為引人注目。來自澳門的湯袀溒和何易笑的遊戲編程設計，不僅展示了他們在編程方面的能力，也體現了對教育與娛樂相結合的深刻理解。這樣的作品不僅具備實用性，還能激發同齡人的興趣，具有很好的推廣潛力。 來自澳門菜農子弟學校的蔡芷昕、陳宛琳和陳雯悅設計的睡眠枕頭與結合偵察心率的創新，突顯了他們對健康與科技的關注。這一設計不僅有助於提升睡眠質量，還能讓使用者實時了解自己的心率，這在現代生活中顯得尤為重要。 馬來西亞的洪源宗和沈湧晋在江佩雯的指導下，設計的智能垃圾桶具備自動開蓋和自動收集雨水功能，展示了他們在環保和智能技術上的思考。這樣的創新不僅改善了垃圾處理的便利性，還能有效利用自然資源，展現了參賽者對可持續發展的重視。 此外，香港的任家毅和馬來西亞的林文泽也在大賽中脫穎而出，獲得了最高榮譽，這不僅是他們個人的成就，也是對他們所代表的團隊和學校的肯定。 本屆比賽中有許多作品表現優異，評審在考量過程當中包括了多個方面。某些作品通常在創意和實用性上仍有提升的空間。例如，某些參賽者的環保設計雖然出發點良好，但在材料選擇和成本控制上未能做到最佳平衡，影響了實際應用的可行性。未來的參賽者應重視材料的選擇與成本計算，確保產品不僅具備創意，還能在市場上實現商業價值。 此外，部分作品在呈現上也缺乏清晰的說明和展示，這影響了評委對其設計理念的理解。參賽者可以考慮增強對作品的解釋，通過圖文並茂的方式清楚地表達他們的構思與實現過程，這將有助於提升作品的說服力。 總體而言，本屆大賽展示了年輕創作者們的無限潛力與創新精神。同學應該注意在設計過程中注重實用性與市場需求的結合，這樣才能在未來的比賽中取得更好的成績。獎項的目的是激勵更多年輕創作者參與，提升他們的自信心，並促進創新思維的發展。這不僅能鼓勵參賽者不斷追求卓越，也能為整個社會帶來更多有益的創新成果。我們期待看到更多富有洞察力和創新性的作品，鼓勵年輕人持續探索與表達自己的想法，為世界帶來更多的改變。 In the 2024 Global Youth Innovation Design and Invention Competition, over 200 young participants showcased their creativity and talent, with a relatively balanced age group distribution: approximately 5% in the preschool category, 37% in the elementary category, 32% in the middle school category, and 26% in the open category. This level of participation reflects the enthusiasm and commitment of all age groups towards innovative design. Several outstanding works stood out in this competition. The game coding design by 湯袀溒, 何易笑 from Macau not only demonstrated their programming skills but also embodied a profound understanding of the integration of education and entertainment. Such works possess practicality and can spark interest among peers, making them highly promotable. The innovative sleep pillow and portable night lamp combined with heart rate monitoring, designed by 澳門菜農子弟學校的蔡芷昕、陳宛琳和陳雯悅, highlighted their concern for health and technology. This design not only helps improve sleep quality but also allows users to monitor their heart rate in real-time, which is particularly important in modern life. In Malaysia, 洪源宗和沈湧晋, guided by 江佩雯, designed a smart trash can featuring automatic lid opening and rainwater collection, showcasing their thoughts on environmental protection and smart technology. This innovation not only enhances the convenience of waste management but also effectively utilizes natural resources, reflecting the participants' commitment to sustainability. Additionally, 任家毅 from Hong Kong and 林文泽from Malaysia also excelled in the competition, receiving the highest honors. This achievement not only reflects their personal success but also acknowledges their respective teams and schools. While many works performed excellently in this competition, the judges considered multiple aspects during the evaluation process. Some entries still have room for improvement in creativity and practicality. For instance, some participants' environmentally friendly designs had good starting points but failed to achieve the best balance in material selection and cost control, impacting their feasibility for real-world application. Future participants should focus on material choice and cost calculation to ensure their products are not only creative but also commercially viable. Moreover, some works lacked clear explanations and presentations, which affected the judges' understanding of their design concepts. Participants could enhance their explanations by clearly articulating their ideas and implementation processes through well-illustrated materials, which would help improve the persuasiveness of their works. Overall, this competition showcased the immense potential and innovative spirit of young creators. Students should pay attention to the integration of practicality and market demand in their design processes to achieve better results in future competitions. The purpose of the awards is to encourage more young creators to participate, boost their confidence, and promote the development of innovative thinking. This not only motivates participants to continually strive for excellence but also brings forth beneficial innovations for society.
